What is VBA?
The Viking Baseball Association is dedicated to the promotion and sponsorship of youth baseball in the Cadillac area, and its principal purposes are to (a) provide development opportunities for youth to participate in baseball, (b) teach the technique necessary for success in baseball, (c) promote sportsmanship and character development, (d) develop physical fitness and mental toughness, and (d) to provide for an enjoyable, safe, and competitive experience.

*VBA is not affiliated with any other local organization.   VBA intends to be a feeder program for Cadillac High School baseball. 

Who can play?

This year we plan to have an 8U, 10U, 12U,14U, and 16U teams.  A player’s age is their age on May 31, 2023.  Players must either attend CAPS Schools, live in the CAPS district, or have permission from the VSA Board in order to play. Generally, players from neighboring towns will only be allowed to play if we cannot fill out a team with Cadillac players.

How much does it cost?

The cost will be $100. We also require players to participate in fundraising efforts in order for us to cover all of our expenses.

What does my child need to play ?

Players will need their own bat, glove, cleats, helmet and grey baseball pants for games.  A very limited supply of extra bats and helmets will be kept on hand.

Little League

We are asking our boys to also play in the new Cadillac Little League so that we can get additional games. Sign-up information will be made available as soon as we have it.
